Achieve A Goal

Maybe you have always wanted to start running or to compete in a 5K. Even if you are a seasoned runner, maybe you would like to set a new personal best.

Swag Bag

Each participant in the Pride Run gets a Pride Run t-shirt, medal and a goodie bag!

Meet New Pals

One great thing about Dublin Front Runners is the group dynamic. With over 800 participants set to take part in the Pride Run, you will have tonnes of support and encouragement along the way. It’s also a positive and healthy way to get involved with the community during the Pride festivities.

As DFR member Sandra Galvin put it, “What I like is that people don’t look at your ability, that you can run 10k in less than an hour – if you run two hours they nicely will wait!”

Multiple Feel Good Factors

We all know that it’s scientifically proven exercise makes you feel good! Well to add to that feel good factor, your participation in this year’s Pride Run will help to raise funds for three very worthy causes in our community.

This year’s charities are TENI, Gay Switchboard and the Dublin Lesbian Line. Last year the Pride Run raised a whopping €12,000!

Discover The Great Outdoors

The DFR train three times a week in the beautiful surroundings of the Phoenix Park and it can be a great escape when living in a busy city.

Dublin Pride Run takes place at 7.30pm, Friday, June 22nd, 2018.

Support GCN

GCN has been a vital, free-of-charge information service for Ireland’s LGBTQ+ community since 1988.

During this global COVID pandemic, we like many other organisations have been impacted greatly in the way we can do business and produce. This means a temporary pause to our print publication and live events and so now more than ever we need your help to continue providing this community resource digitally.

GCN is a registered charity with a not-for-profit business model and we need your support. If you value having an independent LGBTQ+ media in Ireland, you can help from as little as €1.99 per month. Support Ireland’s free, independent LGBTQ+ media.
