The angelic Ariana Grande, who is no stranger to the Broadway stage, slayed a performance of The Wizard And I during NBC’s A Very Wicked Halloween: Celebrating 15 Years On Broadway.
On a stage designed to look like the emerald city, the No Tears Left To Cry hit-maker appeared as part of the smash-hit musical’s 15th-anniversary celebrations, fittingly dressed in emerald green complete with a sparkly green lipstick.

The musical extravaganza saw a slew of stars take to the stage to celebrate the iconic musical, including the original Glinda (Kristin Chenoweth) and Elphaba (Idina Menzel).
The pair belted For Good, the show’s touching ode to female friendship, along with more than a dozen other Glindas and Elphabas who came after them to fill the iconic roles.

The musical first hit the stage in 2003 and has since become Broadway’s sixth longest-running show and still regularly sells out.
The original Glinda, Kristin Chenoweth said, “First of all, I can’t believe it’s been 15 years. I think it was yesterday. And yet it feels like it’s been 15 years. So there’s that I’m battling in my brain.”
“I just wanted to be in a show that someone would have heard of,” she added.
A production of the musical is currently touring North America, while there is also a West End production of the show.
Ice-cream company Ben and Jerry’s have also launched an ice-cream sandwich in its honour.
Wicked is based on Gregory Maguire’s 1995 novel Wicked: The Life And Times Of The Wicked Witch Of The West, which is an unofficial prequel to the classic movie The Wizard Of Oz.
The musical is a reimagining of The Wizard Of Oz and follows green-skinned Elphaba and popular blonde Glinda who form a seemingly unbreakable friendship, which is then put to the test when the pair encounters The Wizard of Oz.
