For all you people desperately in need of your next Queer Eye fix, never fear – the Fab Five are heading back to take over our screens and make over lives!
Grooming expert Jonathan Van Ness, culture guru Karamo Brown, style king Tan France, interior design genius Bobby Berk and culinary specialist Antoni Porowski continue in their quest to make America just that little bit cooler…and queerer.
For your viewing pleasure, check out the trailer below to see what’s in store.
Now you’ll notice that Queer Eye doesn’t have ‘For The Straight Guy’ in its title unlike the series that inspired it. Fans are well aware that’s because it’s not just straight men who have their worlds transformed. Women and gay men have been on the receiving end of invaluable life hacks in previous episodes, and this series will feature the first lesbian makeover.
In the heartbreaking trailer, the young woman, Jess, begins by saying, “I had pretty much given up on kind, genuine, people,” before continuing “they expected me to be someone else. More black. Less white. More gay. Less gay. I feel like I don’t belong.”

And while Queer Eye is all about the journey, it’s no surprise when the trailer hints at Jess’ end result. She says, “It took me my whole life to realise it’s beautiful and sexy to, like, take care of yourself. I went from being this lost teenager to being a fierce queen.”
We know one episode that’s going to get those tears flowing!
The only problem with the return of Queer Eye is how quickly we’re going to binge it, and then what will we do?! Leave it to the fine team behind the show to understand viewers have no control whatsoever. Later this year we can look forward to Queer Eye: We’re In Japan! where the team share their knowledge with four Japanese people while exploring the country’s rich culture and cuisine.
We’ll take it!
