Love Sensation is the brand new ultimate queer festival brought to you from the people behind the legendary Mother club and here’s the T on what is going to be one of the hottest dates in everyone’s calendar this summer.

Taking over the grounds of the Royal Hospital Kilmainham in Dublin on August 17 and 18, the two-day music and arts festival is aimed at the LGBT+ community and their many friends.

There are some incredible headliners who will rock the main stage during the two day festival along with tons more amazing artists.

Lily Allen

The pop sensation has been an LGBT+ ally for many years and is sure to rock the main stage of Love Sensation with hits such as ‘Fuck You’, ‘The Fear’ and ‘LDN’.

 

Kelis

Kelis became a household name after the success of “Milkshake”. She has gone on to rule the charts with songs like “Trick Me”, “Bounce”, and “Acapella”.

Clean Bandit

Grammy award winning trio Clean Bandit will be taking to the main stage. The band have a seemingly endless list of sensational colloborationswith artists such as Jess Glynne, Marina, Demi Lovatoe, Anne-Marie and Zara Larsson.

 

Gossip

Indie rock band Gossip is reuniting on tour to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their album Music For Men. The shows will bring Beth Ditto, Nathan Howdeshell and Hannah Billie back together on stage for the first time since 2012.

Love Sensation will be the final date on their reunion tour so it’s bound to be an unforgettable experience.

Mother DJs

Conceived in June 2010, Mother is an old school club night for disco loving gays and their friends. Packed into a cosy underground space, the club has become an institution of Dublin nightlife and has been named one of the “top five clubs in Ireland” by The Irish Times, Hot Press and Attitude magazine. Not only has the club raised the bar when it comes to queer club-culture in Dublin, Mother is also a main player at creating magical moments at some of Ireland’s biggest festivals, last year named one of the top 13 acts at Electric Picnic this year.

 

Soulé

Soulé is the leading force in a new wave of emerging Irish music. The Dublin based electronic pop artist is here to make her mark with her bass heavy sound and soft – soulful vocals. Born in London and raised in Dublin seaside town of Balbriggan, the singer songwriter’s innate charisma, natural talent and electronic pop influenced tunes have garnered her a cool, three million streams on Spotify.

 

Panti

Panti Bliss

Who else could host the main stage for the weekend, there really is only one woman for the job, step forward Panti Bliss!

 

The George Stage

Expect tons of surprises from The George stage, a Mother Dance Tent you won’t want to leave and a host of RuPaul Drag Queens brought to you by Dublin drag legends ‘Dragged Up’ including Monet X Change, Naomi Smalls, Jujubee, Laganja Estranja & Sonique!

The weekend will also see performances from Daithí, Horse Meat Disco, Andy Butler (Hercules & Love Affair), Kelly-Anne Byrne, & more
