Bohemian FC (Bohs) have launched their new 2025 away shirt, celebrating a collaboration with Guinness that highlights two iconic Dublin institutions.
Designed in-house and produced in Dublin by O’Neills Sportswear, the shirt is now available in-store at ‘The Bohs Store’ in Glasnevin and ‘The Guinness Storehouse’ at St James’s Gate. Online orders will ship from March 7, with significant stocks ready to meet demand.
Beyond its striking design, the jersey carries a deeper purpose. Sales will fund Bohemian FC’s ongoing efforts to tackle homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia in football through their Bohs in Community initiative. This commitment reflects the club’s progressive values as Ireland’s only not-for-profit, fan-owned football club. Bohs is fully democratic, run on a ‘one person, one vote’ principle, and firmly grounded in inclusivity and social progress.

Guinness Ireland’s Marketing Director, Alan McAleenan, emphasised the importance of the collaboration: “We’re proud to support Bohemian FC, a club that unites the local community through every match. This partnership is a celebration of modern Irish football, and we are honoured to promote the League of Ireland alongside Bohs.”
Aidan Martin, representing Bohs Pride Committee, shared the club’s history of advocacy for LGBTQ+ inclusion: “In 2016, GayBohs became the first – and to date, only – LGBTQ+ fans’ group in Ireland. The club’s earlier support for the Marriage Equality referendum laid the groundwork for initiatives like ours. Bohs has continually strived for diversity and inclusion, and funds from this collaboration will be crucial in our fight against discrimination in football.”
Bohs’ efforts include hosting LGBTQ+ diversity workshops for coaches through ShoutOut, unveiling a Pride mural in Phibsborough, and appearing on national media to raise awareness of queer visibility in football. In March, they will launch a national survey to better understand LGBTQ+ experiences in the sport, with recommendations aimed at Ireland’s governing body, the FAI.
Fresh from winning the 2024 GALAS LGBTQ+ Ally Award, Bohemian FC’s dedication to using football as a platform for positive social change continues to grow – and this jersey is another step on their journey.
