Turn Back Time
Principal photography for the film began in August this year with the film scheduled to hit screens in the middle of the blockbuster months on July 20, 2018.
The 2008 film became the highest grossing live-action musical film of all time, reports the BBC, with over a dozen hit ABBA songs making it into the film including ‘Mamma Mia!’, ‘Honey, Honey’, ‘Money, Money, Money’ and ‘Take a Chance on Me’.

The sequel’s soundtrack is set to include musical numbers from ABBA that did not make it into the 2008 film.
Details of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again‘s plot have not yet been disclosed, however, it is known that Lily James has been cast as the younger version of Streep’s character, Donna.
Some have implied that Cinderella actress James’ character will play an integral role in the film, with the narrative focussing on how a young Donna first met Brosnan and Firth’s characters.
Also joining the cast is War Horse & Stonewall actor Jeremy Irvine, who will play the younger version of Brosnan’s character.
What ABBA songs that didn’t make it into the first Mamma Mia! film would you like to see in the sequel?
