- London’s HIV rates drop by 40% in 2016 compared with the previous year, which may be related to generic PrEP purchased on the internet. “We need to be cautious at this stage, but I can’t see what else it can be,” says Dr Will Nutland who co-founded the PrEPster website which aims to inform people about the HIV preventing medication. - MPs in the UK are pushing to make LGBT-inclusive sex education mandatory across the nation. An amendment to the Children and Social Work Bill has been tabled by a group of MPs which is being led by Stella Creasy from the Labour Party. “With the maelstrom of Brexit, it is difficult to see this being considered a priority for additional Parliamentary time,” Creasy said.
