World famous fashion designer Tom Ford revealed that he married his longtime partner, Richard Buckley, in a secret ceremony in the US.

Tom Ford (52) casually announced while appearing at Regent Street Apple store in London that he finally wed former fashion journalist Richard Buckley (66) after 27 years together.

He said, “We are now married which is nice. I know that was just made legal in the UK which is great; we were married in the States.”

Ford met his husband at a fashion show in 1986, when he was 25 and Buckley was 38. Speaking about what first attracted him to Buckley, he said, “I went to a fashion show and this silver-haired guy was staring at me with these piercing water-blue eyes. It scared me because I absolutely saw and knew my entire future.”

The couple have a two year-old son together, Alexander John Buckley Ford.

Tom Ford is one of the most celebrated fashion designers in the world. Celebrity clients include Jay Z, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Halle Berry and Angelina Jolie.
