Gather around lovers of leather, lime and…sparkling water. Lady Gaga has told fans all about her new “ready for sex” fragrance that promises to arouse all genders.

The unisex fragrance, named ‘Eau de Gaga’ – as opposed to ‘Oh dear Gaga’, which is what some hardcore fans were saying last week when the singer teased her new record with Tony Bennet – comes in an elegant bottle and is said by the 27 year-old to be just the first of a collection.

Gaga made her entrance into the celebrity fragrance market with ‘Fame’, which was released two years ago, selling a total of 30 million bottles in its first six months.

Speaking to fans through the medium of Twitter about her new product, Mother Monster said, “It’s an extremely sexy and arousing smell for all genders. Alluring and ready for sex”.

Explaining her choice of base notes, which differ from the usual celebrity go-to’s of vanilla and musk, Gaga informed, “The base consists of sparkling water, lime, leather. Three things I use everyday. A very clean and expensive scent”.

A release date for the fragrance has yet to be announced, but in the meantime, check out Gaga channeling Donatella Versace in the promotional poster shot by the renowned Steven Klein.
