“My privacy was invaded. There was content of me engaging in sexual activities circling online” says Lokies about the leaked sex tape

Gay Singaporean Lokies Khan takes to Youtube to open up about his leaked sex tape online, and the repercussions it has had on him.

Talking with Youtube Channel “Dear Straight People” Lokies explains: “My privacy was invaded. There was content of me engaging in sexual activities circling online.”

“The main reason this affected me so much because this is not something that I want people to see.”

While Lokies’ public posts on Instagram do show the man in his underwear, he emphasises that this is his own choice: “Things I post on Instagram are things that are within my control.”

“But these GIFs of me on Tumblr are not within my control. I didn’t give consent.”

Slut Shaming

Lokies Khan explains that since the GIFs went viral on Tumblr, he has experienced slut shaming.

“Slut shaming within the gay community is [a] pot calling the kettle black issue. This is a problem in the community […] and people think it’s ok.”

Lokies has a final message for the perpetrators who are leaking nude photos and videos of others.

“For people who think it’s OK to post other people’s photos and nudes that don’t belong to them: You need to stop.”
