How can you help the Yes campaign? Get down to Outhouse on April 11 for ‘Get Out The Vote’.

Outhouse and Yes Equality, supported by a team of volunteers are organising an event ‘Get out the Vote!’ on Saturday the 11th April 2015 between 2-6pm. Attendees will be provided with valuable skills and materials to get out there and secure a Yes vote in the Marriage Equality Referendum, and those not registered to vote will have a chance to do so on the day.

The event will take place in Outhouse, 105 Capel St, D1 and aims to get as many new people as possible effectively involved in Yes Equality campaigning.

On the day, Outhouse will be hosting:

• Yes Equality Pledge to Vote stand. A stand providing pledge cards to collect information from possible volunteers/encourage voting.

• Yes Equality Register to Vote stand. Providing voter registration forms and advising on how to complete them.

• Yes x 10 for Marriage Equality stand. Providing Yes x 10 information and cards from the NXF initiative.

• The #VoteWithUs team will be there to advise on making the best use of social media through the #votewithus online video campaign.

• Yes Equality ‘Pop Up’ Shop. T-shirts, badges, stickers and more!

Outhouse will also be hosting a special canvassing workshop, so first time canvassers will learn how to effectively talk to voters in the lead-up to the Marriage Equality referendum.
