West Cork native Graham Norton is set to host The Neighbourhood, a brand-new reality competition produced by Lifted Entertainment and The Garden.
The upcoming 12-part series offers an insight into real-life households immersed in a 24/7 game. The format will follow families getting to know each other after moving onto the same street, as they face the challenge of bonding through shared meals and social events.
The episodes will be packed with high-stakes competition, thrilling trials and relatable domestic drama, as participants gradually vote each other out. The ultimate goal is to outlast their neighbours while maintaining popularity within the community, battling it out to win a life-changing cash prize.
This marks a new challenge for Graham Norton, as it is his first time hosting a reality TV show. However, his experience with Amazon’s LOL: Last One Laughing Ireland, the company’s first original Irish show, highlights his versatility and capacity to explore different TV genres.
This time, showcasing promising “dastardly challenges and a life-changing prize”, The Neighbourhood is expected to become a favourite among viewers.
New game show, hosted by Graham Norton, sees real families and households move in side by side for a street-sized competition.
To win they’ll need to defeat their neighbours in challenges, while staying popular on the street.

Norton, who is openly gay, shared his excitement: “Like everyone, I’m always intrigued by what goes on behind closed doors. Add to that some dastardly challenges and a life-changing prize and I’m hooked. Both Lifted and The Garden are masters at what they do, so I feel confident The Neighbourhood will be the nation’s favourite destination!”
Katie Rawcliffe, Director of Entertainment & Daytime ITV said: “The Neighbourhood offers audiences the perfect blend of high-stakes competition and reality drama, with a very relatable cast. With the beloved Graham Norton at the helm, it’s going to make for an unmissable entertainment experience.”
The show is expected to hit screen in 2026. It will be internationally distributed by ITV Studios and will air on ITV1 and ITVX. Casting is now open, and you can apply here.
