Facebook has revealed it’s 2015 Year In Review video – and Ireland’s historic referendum win for marriage equality has been included in it’s top ten moments of the past year.

 

May 23, 2015 – the day same-sex marriage became legal in Ireland – has been ranked among the most talk about news pieces on the social network this year.

Along with clips from the Nepalese earthquakes, the US presidential election and the Paris terrorist attacks – we see David Norris address the delighted crowd at Dublin Castle as the final announcement was made.
