Kardashian-Jenner matriarch, Kris Jenner, has finally spoken up about her former spouse’s transition and the now iconic Vanity Fair cover.

Earlier this month, Caitlyn Jenner debuted her new look on the cover of Vanity Fair. It’s safe to say that the former Olympian did what Kim Kardashian tried to to and ‘broke the internet’ – with everyone on social media, including his family, weighing in on it. Everyone, except ex-wife Kris that is. Since the big reveal on June 1, she hasn’t tweeted or made any comment until now.

While attending a yacht party hosted by The Daily Mail in Cannes, the reality star told Extra, “I think it’s amazing. I think that someone following their dream is truly inspirational to a lot of people … you have to do what makes you happy.”

These comments were a change from what she was quoted as saying in the Vanity Fair interview, in which she was reportedly unhappy with how she was portrayed.

VF quoted her as saying,

He was married to me and he wasn’t who he wanted to be so he was miserable. Why would you want to be married and have kids if this is what you wanted since you were a little boy? Why would you not explain this all to me?

When the Vanity Fair cover first released, other members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan tweet their support.
