Stephen Fry and his new husband Elliott Spencer have spent the last few days tweeting pictures from their wedding.
The grooms wore green carnations in celebration of Oscar Wilde – who Fry played in the film Wilde – as he was famous for sporting one on his lapel.
They cut the cake in a mellow celebration after the signed the wedding register. The ceremony took place on January 17 near Fry’s birthplace in Dereham, Norfolk.
Their plans had been revealed at the start of the year after their plan to wed at the registration office was made public.
Fry and Spencer had their ceremony witnessed by a small stuffed replica of Wilde.
The day after their wedding, Fry tweeted, “When your better half lets you watch the @bbcsnooker you know that marriage is a fine thing.”
Seems to be going well, so!
