Mariah Carey's New Album To Be Launched At The George

The diva shared the exciting news with her Irish 'Lambily' earlier this week.

Ultimate gay icon Mariah Carey revealed this week that she has chosen The George Bar in Dublin as the location for her exclusive album launch this Thursday November 15.

The George announced earlier this week that the iconic Dublin gay bar, in partnership with Sony Music Ireland, would play host to the first official listen of the singer’s new album Caution, as well as promising a rake of goodies to give away, and the ultimate Mariah Carey party:

“Next #ThurstyThursday we are excited to announce we are the home of the official Irish launch party of Mariah Carey’s new album Caution. Loads of giveaways and prizes to be won including copies of the album! We will also be playing the ultimate #Mariah hits as well as a taste of her new album. We cannot wait!”

The original Skinny Legend took to Facebook earlier this week to confirm the album launch, and to give a special shoutout to her devoted Irish fans:

“Irish Lambily: Are you ready for #Caution? Pre-order your copy today and get yourself down to the George Bar, Dublin for the EXCLUSIVE first listen of the album on Thursday November 15th at 10 pm, hosted by the faaaabulous Davina Devine!”

Davina Devine will host this very special Thursty Thursday and while the George has neither confirmed nor denied Mariah’s actual attendance, the night is guaranteed to be full of surprises in any case.

The Caution launch party kicks off at 10 pm this Thursday at the George Bar on South Great George’s Street.

The album itself is set for general release on November 16 and will mark the singer’s first studio album in four years. Her last release entitled “Me. I am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse” received rave reviews by critics, though it did not make as much of a commercial impact. Caution will be Mariah’s fifteenth album.
