MOTHER Makes A Glittery Return To Electric Picnic

The MOTHER DJ's are returning to the Body&Soul Earthship stage at Electric Picnic in a whirl of sequins, glitter, confetti and gays.

MOTHER DJ on stage

After some electrifying sessions at Dublin Pride, Body & Soul and Galway Pride, Mother has had one hell of a summer but it’s not over yet, as the DJ’s return to Stradbally for its ninth year of debauchery

The fun continues as the Mother DJ’s hit the decks across Saturday and Sunday this year as an essential part of the Body & Soul Village.

Join the Mother DJs on Saturday for The Mother Midnight Electric Rideshow as they turn Jerry’s sideshow into a Queer Rideshow.

On Sunday it’s the infamous annual grand finalé. Mother will close the festival at the Earthship Stage in a whirl of sequins, glitter, confetti and gays.

Body&Soul Returns As The Creative Centre of Electric Picnic

For three days and nights, the creative minds behind Body&Soul transform the small corner of a Co. Laois estate into a beautifully stitched together, fantastical landscape lined with glowing lights and vibrant installations. Set in a sloping natural amphitheatre, a collection of specially-constructed stages sit side-by-side with unexpected hideaways and thrilling surprises.

Debuting its first year at the Earthship Stage is Fat Puppy, an evening of queer delights curated by Today FM’s Kate Brennan Harding that combines hilarious cabaret from Spice Bag, warm welcomes from Fat Puppy madames Chantal, Miss Tri Deli and Miss Covfefe and live performances and DJ sets while members of The Naughty Party fuse body positivity, politics and bangin’ tracks.

Expect your favourite house party vibes combined with underground queer scene freshness, something to get you prepped for the Body&Soul classic: Sunday’s epic Mother closing party.
