And now you can get your cocktail on with Pixie at BYOB Liquid Brunch in the pop-up Drop Dead Twice on Francis St where she’ll be on the decks spinning everything from disco to dance.
Ahead of BYOB Liquid Brunch we caught up with Pixie Woo.
What’s your favourite cocktail?
Anything with gin. Gin makes me emotional and when I get emotional I get desperate and that’s when things get fun.
What’s your favourite cock tale?
Every hook-up story has the potential to be hilariously awkward when you have 6 pairs of tights and 4 pairs of industrial strength spanks on.
If you could have anyone in the world be your topless barman on Sunday, who would it be?
Tom Daley. Those “sex tapes” recently were just awful teases and I want to see more.
What’s the drunkest you’ve ever been performing in drag?
Prhomo in 4 Dame Lane was a drunken blur most of the time.
While performing one night I got carried away and decided to swing upside down from the rafters on the roof and then fell headfirst to the ground.
Favourite song of all time to get the party going?
Yes Sir I Can Boogie by Baccara. You can’t not dance to it.
Pixie Woo will be DJing all evening this Sunday 12 February from 5pm until 11pm. For €20, you can bring your own liquor and have “a bartender on hand to mix your own personalised cocktails.”
How It Works
How does this here BYOB thing work, you say? Here’s an run down from the organisers:
Bring a bottle of your favourite spirit & a member of our bar team will talk you through what you’d like to try, what you like and create a selection of customised cocktails for you. (Bring a shoulder or a 70cl between two!)
Liquid brunch will be in 2 hour slots with a bartender on hand to mix your own personalised cocktails. After two hours, you’ll have the option to pay for an extra hour with your bartender, or head downstairs to the cash bar.
