As Pride season is in full swing in Ireland, we at GCN have compiled another list of events happening across the country, showcasing all that’s on offer when it comes to celebrating the LGBTQ+ community this summer. Here are some of the events to look forward to this July for Pride 2023.
Trans+ Pride Cork – July 1, 2023
Under the theme ‘Break the Binary’ Trans+ Pride Cork will once again march through Cork city on July 1, 2023! The march will begin at Grand Parade Library at 2pm and leading up to the parade, there is a banner making session for anyone wanting to make their voice heard and seen.

Wicklow Pride – July 1, 2023
Wicklow Pride this year is all about coming together to celebrate love, acceptance and equality. Throughout the festival, a wide range of events and activities will include everything from live music to art exhibitions and an array of different workshops. The parade will be held on July 1.

Carlow Pride – July 2, 2023
Carlow’s biggest community event will once again return with hundreds making their way through the town on Sunday, July 2. With a vast array of music, dance and drag, there will certainly be entertainment for everyone. And for all those hungry after all the marching and dancing, worry not as there will be an abundance of different food trucks offering delicious treats, but please note that the event is alcohol-free.

Limerick Pride – July 3 to 9, 2023
The Limerick Pride parade will happen on Saturday, July 8. Anyone looking to bring a little more colour and music to Limerick city is invited to gather at Merchant Quay, with the parade departing from there at 2pm and making its way to Hunt Museum, where more festivities await Pride-goers.

Trans & Intersex Pride – July 8, 2023
Emphasising the importance of Pride as a protest, Trans & Intersex Pride Dublin will happen on July 8. The march will make its way from the Garden of Remembrance to the Dáil, with fighting for trans rights and speaking out for change being at the heart of this event.

Mullingar Pride – July 8, 2023
Happening Saturday, July 8, Mullingar Pride will return bigger and better than ever before. Starting at 3:15pm, everyone is welcome. After the parade, there will be an official celebratory concert starring non-other than Drag Race UK star Baga Chipz.

Dundalk Pride – July 10 to 15, 2023
Dundalk Family Pride Day is happening on Saturday, July 15. With musicians, circus performers and face paint, it is the perfect outing for people of all ages. Dundalk Pride is a fun, safe and sober opportunity to celebrate Pride this year.

Kingdom Pride – July 10 to 16, 2023
Kingdom Pride will return to Kerry with events all over the county from July 10 to 16. The Pride march will be held in Killarney on July 15, with other events including everything from pottery classes to bowling and quiz nights to film screenings.

Bród na Gaeltachta – July 16 to 23, 2023
This community-organised bilingual Pride festival will be held in Falcarragh from July 16 to 23. Throughout the week, there will be many different events to get you in the mood for the parade on Saturday, July 22.

Drogheda Pride – July 20 to 23, 2023
Happening from July 20 to 23, Drogheda Pride returns in 2023. The parade will be held on Saturday, July 22, and for those looking to keep the celebrations going, there will be a Pride after-party with Kobrah Kage and Drag Race winner Blu Hydrangea following the march.

Belfast Pride – July 21 to 30, 2023
The biggest event for the LGBTQ+ community in Belfast is happening July 21 to July 30 with the grand parade being held on Saturday, July 29. With over 150 events during the festival, there is definitely something happening in Belfast that is just the right fit for you.

Northern Pride – July 22 to 23, 2023
Northern Pride will celebrate the LGBTQ+ community from July 22 to July 23. The festival will have a community village with a range of entertainment for audiences old and young, and an arena offering the perfect place to dance your heart out. Thousands are expected to show their colours in the march held in Newcastle on Saturday, July 22, and it will undoubtedly be the highlight of the weekend.
