Irish LGBTQ+ charities provide vital resources for queer youth, support mental health, and offer safe spaces for us to connect, uplift each other, and organise. With this in mind, if you are looking to give back to the community this Pride, here are some amazing Irish queer charities you can support.

Transgender Equality Network Ireland (TENI) is focused on ending the stigmatisation, discrimination and inequality that trans people face. FLAC 

FLAC is a volunteer organisation dedicated to giving everyone equal access to legal aid. The organisation offers a free clinic to provide LGBTQ+ people with legal advice, and appointments must be scheduled in advance. Donate here.

GOSHH

Gender Orientation Sexual Health HIV (GOSHH) provides a variety of services related to sexual health, HIV and STIs. It provides its services to people within Limerick, Clare and North Tipperary. Donate here.

Dublin Lesbian Line

Dublin Lesbian Line is a confidential helpline that provide support, information and referrals for all lesbians, queer women and non-binary folk. It also hosts social events, such as Dyke Night on the eve of Dublin Pride. Donate here.

Equality for Children

Equality for Children campaigns for children of LGBTQ+ families to have a formally recognised legal relationship with both parents. The organisation hopes to expand the Children and Families Relationship Act so that both parents are recognised on their child’s birth certificate. Donate here.

The Rainbow Project

Next on our list of queer Irish charities is The Rainbow Project, which is dedicated to improving the lives of LGBTQ+ people in Northern Ireland.
