After a hiatus of two years the Gay Pride Festival in Waterford is back with a bang this month.
Always a popular destination event, Waterford Pride took a break two years ago after the city’s gay bar, Instinct closed down. But it’s back this November, and plenty of fun is in the offing.
The big act over the weekend comes in the form of male revue, the UK Pleasure Boys, (pictured) who are making their Irish debut. Having headlined Birmingham Pride several times, the UK Pleasure Boys will be bringing their special talents to Waterford’s Revolution bar on Friday November 18, and it promises to be a stompingly sexy show.
On the Saturday, November 19, again in Revolution, the former queens of Dignity host a night of performances from Joanna Ryde, Divalicious and Ivanna, with extra special headline acts of the Dublin divas, Davina Devine and Victoria Secret.
Both nights will have DJs to keep the music going until the early hours and tickets are on sale here, with limited VIP Tickets for the Pleasure Boys available.
More information on all Waterford Pride events and activities are listed on the Waterford Pride Facebook and Twitter feeds.
