Laura Jane Grace, lead singer of punk band Against Me! is set to star in a new web series called ‘True Trans’ which will be streamed on AOL this October.

The web series is set to coincide with National Coming Out Day on October 10 and features transgender individuals discussing their experience with coming out and transitioning.

The series is named after the Against Me! song True Trans Soul Rebel, taken from the True Trans EP.

Laura Jane Grace came out as trans in 2012 after struggling with her gender identity all her life. Against Me! are one of the most influential DIY punk bands of the past 15 years. In the early 2000’s, they released their biggest singles Baby, I’m An Anarchist and Sink, Florida, Sink.
