Last night, Conan O’Brien took apart the new Indiana Anti-Gay Law with a character describing himself as Indiana’s Religious Freedom Czar.
Joined by character Don Biederman (played by SNL and 30 Rock alum Chris Parnell), Conan asks the man to explain the intricacies of the new law and how he manages to recognise gay people in the general vicinity.
He tells Conan that the law does not discriminate, it protects church-goers who want to keep their businesses homosexual-free.
“It is a known fact, Conan, if there are any homosexuals nearby, God cannot hear your prayers,” Biederman argues.
