Looking back, it wasn’t very hard to guess which team Ellen Page played for, was it?

She may have only officially broke down that closet door over the weekend, but check out a sketch Ms.Page did when she hosted Saturday Night Live in 2008.

In this pretty funny sketch, Page is a closeted lesbian who gets VERY excited after attending a Melissa Etheridge concert. She explains to her boyfriend (played by Andy Samberg) how she felt “so free” rocking out to “lezzie jams” alongside “athletic girls in tank tops”. A confused Samberg asks, “Did you go gay at that concert?” Page responds, “Gay? No way!”.

Judging by how the sketch ends, it kind of seems like it may have been a backstage in-joke about Page’s own hidden sexuality.
