Men’s grooming product manufacturers, Lynx, have gone against it’s usual straight-male targeted advertising by including a gay kiss in their new ‘Lynx Hair’ Australian ad campaign.
The Lynx brand (called AXE in the United States) is well known for it’s ‘Lynx Effect” ad campaigns – which usually revolve around a young sex starved man using a Lynx product and suddenly becoming irresistible to women.
While this new ad doesn’t deviate dramatically from the Lynx ad formula, it has acknowledged that some guys would rather attract hot members of the same-sex. We’d consider that a step forward!
