Neon Trees release ‘Songs I Can’t Listen To’ starring lead singer Tyler Glenn and Dustin Lance Black.

The video for Neon Trees’ new song tells the story of lead singer Tyler Glenn’s fictional relationship with Oscar-winning writer Dustin Lance Black. The video shows an insanely happy relationship that turns sour, leaving the protagonist with, of course, songs he can’t listen to.

We are infinitely disappointed that there isn’t a Tom Daley cameo.

It’s an interesting video, featuring that life-changing moment all gay couples go through – the moment you float around your living room.

Dustin Lance Black, earlier this year, delivered an impassioned speech at UCD about Ireland’s marriage referendum and how it felt for him to come out. He has also, recently, taken issue with Hollywood agents who he believes are at fault for actors not coming out.
