Candlelight Cabaret is here, queer, and GCN has three pairs of tickets to give away to their wonderful Pride event!
This Pride-themed burlesque, cabaret, drag and comedy show will feature incredible musical acts, routines and pole performances, all packed into one tantalising evening that is all about being: “loud, proud, and out in the crowd!”
Get ready to be mesmerised by the crème de la crème of burlesque performances. The whole cast has prepared an amazing evening of unforgettable acts with evening entertainment hosted by Elizabeth Tierney.
The crowd will get to enjoy feature performances from the sensational Avatarguille, Leela Baron, Daria Decollete, and Barbara Vulso, just to name a few.
Vulso has been described as a “Space Queen, a caring weirdo and working on becoming the Empress of the Universe,” and she even sang for the Irish President, Michael D. Higgins.

This Pride-themed Candlelight Cabaret will include bold and beautiful performances inspired by a style of music hall shows produced in the 1920s which blend live music, burlesque, pole, drag and comedy.
The evening will also feature a “dragged up” version of Riverdance, which was carefully orchestrated by the incredible eye of Siobhan, the show producer and artistic director, who has a background of working in theatre for over 25 years.
The Pride event is taking place in LoSt LaNe, just off Grafton Street, on Saturday, June 22. Doors will open at 6:00pm, and the show starts at 7:00pm.
Tickets are on sale now with prices starting from €25, but GCN has three pairs of tickets ready to give away to our lucky readers. For a chance to win, simply answer the following question:

GCN has been a vital, free-of-charge information service for Ireland’s LGBTQ+ community since 1988.
During this global COVID pandemic, we like many other organisations have been impacted greatly in the way we can do business and produce. This means a temporary pause to our print publication and live events and so now more than ever we need your help to continue providing this community resource digitally.
GCN is a registered charity with a not-for-profit business model and we need your support. If you value having an independent LGBTQ+ media in Ireland, you can help from as little as €1.99 per month. Support Ireland’s free, independent LGBTQ+ media.
