To the delight of all her Irish fans, queer singer-songwriter girl in red is set to take Dublin by storm on August 27 this year. As the artist is gearing up for her UK and Ireland Tour, GCN has two pairs of tickets to give away to some very lucky readers!
Born Marie Ulven, the alternative pop artist from Oslo, first gained recognition after releasing her critically acclaimed debut album titled if i could make it go quiet in 2021. The album was deemed a “Best of 2021” by the likes of Rolling Stone, Billboard, Variety, NPR, Stereogum, NYLON and more.
Capturing hearts with her honest songwriting and powerful live performances, the Norwegian artist continued on her path to global stardom, garnering the attention of big names in the music industry, including Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift.

She went on to win several awards for her music and also appeared on TV with performances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Late Night With Seth Meyers. In 2023, girl in red was picked by Taylor Swift to open for her on the groundbreaking Eras Tour. And, in addition to that, the alt-pop star had her own 2023 UK & EU headline run.
Kicking off this year with a bang, she announced her new album titled I’M DOING IT AGAIN BABY!, which released in Spring 2024. After that, she started her tour in North America with shows at Radio City, The Greek, Ryman Theatre and Red Rocks amongst many other major venues.

As part of the DO IT AGAIN tour, girl in red will return to Ireland this summer, with a massive concert at Dublin’s 3Arena scheduled to take place on August 27.
