Do you want to be in to win a great Saturday night out, courtesy of the Irish Film Institute, GCN and Mother? Well, look no further!
We have two pairs of tickets for a screening of director, Robin Campillo’s hugely affecting 120 BPM, set against the backdrop of ACT UP Paris actions in the early 90s.
Nathan is a young man who joins the ACT UP activist group. As he attends the weekly meetings, he learns about the clash between moderate and radical politics in the organisation, and he falls in love.
120 BPM was a huge hit in France, and it packs a huge emotional punch. And if that weren’t enough ACT UP Dublin will be in attendance, staging a direct action to get our government to make PrEP affordable for gay and bisexual men in Ireland.
This special screening of 120 BPM on April 7 will be followed by a drinks reception at the IFI, and we also have two pairs of tickets to give away to the lucky winners for some post-screening dancefloor fun at Dublin’s best queer club, Mother.
What’s not to like? Deadline for entry April 5.
To enter simply answer the following question: What HIV and Aids Activism Organisation is 120 BPM about?
This competition has now closed.
