DECEMBER 1 Worlds AIDS day memorial concert

AIDS West host their annual World Aids Day Memorial Concert in St Nicholas’ Collegiate Church, Galway at 7pm, featuring Bel Canto and Cois Cladaigh (see video below), free entry, find out more here.

 

DECEMBER 4 Silver bells

The annual Dublin Gay Men’s Chorus Christmas concert, featuring a camp mix of carols and classics, at Freemasons’ Hall, Molesworth Street, 6.30pm. For more information click here. see the group’s Facebook page.

 

 

DECEMBER 9 THE PASS

Looking hunk Russell Tovey gives a knockout performance in this film about a closeted premiere league football player, opening in selected cinemas.

 

 

DECEMBER 10 lGBT carol service

Featuring the Dublin Gay Men’s Chorus and special guest speaker, TV3’s Ursula Halligan, this annual service at the Unitarian Church is always special, 8pm followed by mince pies and mulled wine.

 

DECEMBER 13 IF THE GROUND SHOULD OPEN…

Queer artist Jaki Irvine with performers Louise Phelan, Cats Irvine, Cherry Smyth, Hilary Knox and more at the Great Hall in IMMA, 7.30pm, tickets €8 from www.imma.ie

 

DECEMBER 16 GlÓria Christmas concert
