Dublin priests Fr. Sean Duggan and Fr. Gerry O’Connor completed the Ice Bucket Challenge and nominated Rory O’Neill (aka Panti Bliss) to get soaked for Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association.

The priests, who are based in Cherry Orchard parish in Dublin, were nominated by local Fianna Fáil councillor Daithí de Roiste before passing the nod over to our very own Rory O’Neill, Brendan O’Carroll and Archbishop Charles Brown.

Not ones to take themselves too seriously, the priests dressed in drag as the characters of Father Ted‘s Mrs Doyle and Brendan O’Carroll’s Mrs Brown. Their ice bucket challenge was in aid of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association and ‘Tomorrow for Tomas’, a campaign to raise money to help pay medical costs for a four year old Galway boy with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy.

You’re up next, Panti!
