The nominees for the 26th GLAAD Media Awards were released Wednesday and it shows how far representation of LGBTs has come.
With The Imitation Game being nominated for eight Oscars, it’s clearly the big nominee of the night. In the same category, Love is Strange and Golden Globe-nominated Pride are named.
Game of Thrones and How to Get Away With Murder – whose graphic gay scenes have caused some controversy – are nominated for Outstanding Drama Series.
Riding on the crest of its Golden Globe wins, Transparent is likely to pick up Oustanding Comedy with Orange is the New Black and Modern Family its two biggest rivals.
The Normal Heart is the only nominee in its category… Wonder who’s going to win that one?
