The Loft is our private event space at Rascals Brewing Company: a laid-back, stylish wedding venue for couples who want a celebration that feels relaxed, fun, and totally unforced. Whether you’re planning an informal ceremony and party all in one place, or looking for the perfect ‘day two’ venue, The Loft gives you a vibrant setting where your guests can properly unwind, enjoy great beer and cocktails, and celebrate in their own way.
It’s warm, colourful, and full of atmosphere. Ideal for couples who want something a little different from the usual hotel ballroom routine.
One of the best things about The Loft is how flexible it is. The furniture can be arranged to suit whatever you’re picturing: casual banquet-style seating with our bench tables, a more stand-up and social layout using barrels and high stools, or clearing space for dancing later on. The space comfortably hosts larger groups too, with capacity for up to 130 standing (club-style) or 100 seated, with a minimum group size of 40.
You’ll also have everything you need from a technical point of view: a full sound system (spec available on request), DJ booth, playlist streaming, dynamic customisable lighting, plus a screen, HD projector and microphone. It’s perfect for speeches, slideshows, or surprise video messages from pals abroad.
We offer a full bar and food options on the night, keeping things simple and stress-free. For groups of more than 21 people, we have three popular food packages: €18 per head gets you fresh pizzas served in batches for sharing and a selection of dips (no over-ordering, no food waste, and everyone gets plenty). The €22 per head package includes the same pizza setup plus meat, cheese and olive platters, dips, and extra nibbles. The €25 per head package includes the same pizza and meat, cheese and olive platter setup, plus a selection of desserts for sharing.
Drinks can be paid for on the night via tab or card behind the bar, and our bar includes spirits, cocktails and wine alongside our award-winning beers. The bar closes at 12:30am on Fridays and Saturdays, and 11:30pm on other nights, with a half-hour drinking-up time afterwards — the perfect finishing touch to a brilliant wedding celebration.
