The Dragula Season 7 trailer has dropped, with the Boulet Brothers back and on the lookout for the World’s Next Drag Supermonster. After announcing their cast of ‘Monsters’ (the show’s affectionate name for its contestants) earlier this month, the trailer gives a much better look at who’s got what it takes to secure the crown.
This new season marks the 10th anniversary of the four-time Emmy-nominated series, which originally aired on October 31, 2016.
The trailer starts with a bang, as Swanthula proudly proclaims, “As is tradition, you must use your newfound powers of drag, filth, horror and glamour to create captivating looks that you’ll model here on the main stage.
“Our monsters will be judged. Feelings will be hurt. Friendships may even be destroyed.”
What follows is a glimpse of some of the torture the Monsters will face, including knife and axe-throwing, the return of one of the show’s many infamous eating challenges, and something involving copious amounts of bees and other bugs.
Each episode will also have its own theme, though the Dragula Season 7 trailer doesn’t explicitly confirm what these will be. We do, however, see the cast out on location again, suggesting location-based challenges and what appear to be several contestants dressed in clown and carnival attire, hinting at a potential circus theme.

This season’s cast includes Annie Agurl, Areal Haunting, DVVSK, Felony Dodger, Inkubus, Koochie-Koochie Ku, Krustyna Clown, Purus, Samuel Bendix, Satanna, Scythe and Vanda LaRose.
The Dragula Season 7 trailer also shows the return of the infamous ‘cauldron’, the area where contestants must wait (and drink) while the judges deliberate on their performances. Most of the show’s drama unfolds here, with the trailer already giving us iconic lines such as “If you want to wake it up, we can wake it up” and “I’m going to keep it respectful, you b*tch, don’t f*ck with my past like that.”
We also see some of the many promised guest judges appear, including Rose McGowan, Doug Jones, David Dastmalchian, and Harvey Guillén.
The first episode of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula Season 7 will release on Tuesday, October 27, with a new episode each week on the horror streaming platform Shudder.
