Brighid and Paddy have joined the campaign to VoteWithUs for Marriage Equality.

The couple from Dundalk have been together almost 50 years and hope that others, gay and straight, can experience the kind of relationship they have.

They compare the Marriage Equality campaign to civil rights in Northern Ireland in the 1960s and believe it is time to vote for people’s rights in the south.

They are honest about their previous stance on gay marriage, that they would have voted no 20 years ago, but their minds have been changed.

They ask all involved to VoteWithUs so that all people may experience the love and companionship they share.
