After years of speculation about his sexuality, Barry Manilow has reportedly made it through the rain and married his long-term manager Garry Kief.

People Magazine have reported that Barry Manilow married his manager Garry Kief in an intimate ceremony at the singer’s Californian home in 2014. Numerous sources confirmed to the magazine that Manilow and Kief married at a ceremony in April last year, surrounded by their closest friends and family. The guests were invited to a lunch, a ruse to get their friends to attend without informing them of the wedding.

A source told RadarOnline: “Barry and Garry did not tell friends or family that the occasion was their wedding. It was beautiful and consummated their lifelong love affair.”

The couple decided to keep the wedding completely private and didn’t sign paperwork for fear of the news being publicised. But the Mandy singer and his new husband wear their wedding bands to signify their commitment.

A source told the magazine that they “are committed to one another and have been for a very long time.”

Though Barry Manilow never spoke about his sexual orientation publically, sources say he has never tried to hide his sexuality and has been reportedly with Kief for 30 years.

“He’s at a point now where he’s got his career and personal life in a great place and he really doesn’t care what people think,” the source says. “He’s in love and happy.”

“They have a great relationship. Garry has always been there for Barry.”
