Westboro Baptist Church Hates Ireland Now

The Westboro Baptist Church has condemned Ireland for passing the marriage equality referendum.

 

The loud, 39-person cult, Westboro Baptist Church has focused its attention on our little island since the referendum passed with a landslide.

(Warning: there may be triggering/offensive language in this article.)

With celebrities and political leaders from other countries singing our praises, the fame-hungry church has targeted Ireland for ‘enabling fags’.

Posting a timely message on its Twitter feed, the group said that Ireland had “failed in its duty to God”; this coming from a group that gained notoriety for picketing the funerals of US soldiers and massacred children.

“It has been wholly given over to the idea that it is okay to be a filthy fag. They have allowed their fags to establish themselves at every level of society, especially in the government.”
“The old preachers used to say fag-enablers are worse than fags because fag-enablers support the filthy beasts calling themselves gay, and they don’t even have the excuse of being prisoner to a vile lust.”

The ‘Church’ also included a video in which they dance on an Irish flag and sing about fags, or something or other. We won’t embed here because do you really want your Monday ruined?

However, you should watch the video below because it will remind you just how uneducated and geographically-ignorant the Westboro Baptist Church is – turning our flag upside down doesn’t show our distress, it shows that you don’t know that the Ivory Coast exists.

We don’t know about you guys but, for us, this kind of vitriol is a ringing endorsement.
