Lady Gaga to Honour ‘American Horror Story’ Creator, Ryan Murphy

Lady Gaga Ryan Murphy

Anyone who’s anyone in Hollywood will be turning up at an event celebrating gay TV writer, Ryan Murphy this month, including his new BFF, Lady G.

The event, a black and white ball (masks optional, folks), will be hosted by consciously uncoupled, but newly attached, Gwyneth Paltrow, and an auction on the night will raise money for the Foundation of Aids Research (amfAR). Launched in 2010, the Inspirations series celebrates men’s fashion and style, because men’s fashion and style is really, really important, and has raised over $23 million to benefit amfAR (which is actually really, really important).

Lady Gaga makes her debut on Murphy’s hit show, American Horror Story Hotel, tomorrow Wednesday night, playing Countess Elizabeth, who runs the Hotel Cortez, while a host of her hits have been warbled by the cast of Glee, the show that made Murphy a major Hollywood player.

Tickets to the Gala, which takes place in LA on October 29, cost from $3,000 to $200,000 plus. Guess we’ll have to take a raincheck.
