Caitlyn Jenner has presented a major award to the co-producer of Amazon show, Transparent, and the producer of Becoming Us
Speaking in public for the second time since transitioning, Caitlyn Jenner presented an award at the Point Foundation Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 3. The Point Foundation aims to empower LGBTQ students, providing support, leadership training and mentoring.
Jenner presented this year’s Point Horizon Award to two Point alumni, Rhys Ernst, Co-Producer for Amazon’s Emmy-award winning Transparent, and Zach Zyskowski, Producer on ABC Family and Ryan Seacrest Productions docuseries Becoming Us.
Five-time Olympic medalist, Greg Louganis introduced Jenner, noting that they had last seen each other eight months ago. “But it wasn’t until tonight that I had the pleasure of meeting the incredible woman she is today—and she’s just as strong, courageous, tenacious, smart and beautiful as ever.”
After joking about the difficulty walking in heels, Jenner said she was happy to have introduced Caitlyn to the world.
“Isn’t it just wonderful to live your life authentically?” she said.
We totally agree with you Caitlyn. It is!
