Béar Féile 2026 is set to roar back into Dublin this spring, with organisers unveiling a packed four-day schedule celebrating Ireland’s vibrant bear community. Running from Thursday, March 19 to Sunday, March 22, 2026, the festival will once again transform the capital into a hub of camaraderie, nightlife, and hairy fun.

Founded in 2010, Béar Féile is Ireland’s annual bear festival, organised by Dublin Bears, a long-running social group “run by gay men for gay men of all ages who identify as bears or bear admirers.” Over the years, the event has grown into one of the most anticipated fixtures on Ireland’s LGBTQ+ calendar, drawing locals and international visitors alike.

The festivities kick off on Thursday, March 19 evening with a Meet & Greet and registration at Penny Lane from 5-8 pm, followed by a Welcome Night at Bridie’s Bar, where DJ Gerry Moore will set the tone for the weekend.

Friday, March 20, continues with the ever-popular Béar Céili in Street 66, featuring Booster from 5-8 pm, before the action moves to DV8 for FUR!, a late-night dance party with DJs Paddy Fabulous and Neal O’Hara.

On Saturday, March 21, daytime fun arrives at Pantibar with a Bingo Disco hosted by MC Shane and DJ Aggie. That evening sees one of the festival’s signature moments: the Mr Bear Ireland competition, hosted by Panti Bliss and featuring music from Blacktye and DJ Corky. The contest crowns the community ambassador who will represent Irish bears for the year ahead.

The celebrations wrap up on Sunday, March 22, with a packed final day, including the Cabaret Bear Bus Tour, a Bear Sauna session at The Boilerhouse, and a closing Bingo Night at The George hosted by Shirley Temple Bar.

Following the recent crowning of Eamon Bishop as Mr Bear Ireland 2025, anticipation is already building for another unforgettable year.

Tickets and package options for Béar Féile 2026 are available now via the official website, promising four days of pride, connection, and celebration at the heart of Dublin’s queer scene.
