US hitmaker Bonnie McKee opens up to Joan Rivers about her bisexuality for the first time.

McKee told Joan Rivers on ‘In Bed With Joan’, that she first realised she was attracted to women as well as men when she would play childhood games with her friends. When Rivers asked McKee outright if she considered herself bisexual, the songwriter responded, “Yes. I am. I think it’s one of those things where, you know, I think all little girls kind of play ‘doctor’ with their girlfriends, and then I kind of never grew out of it.”

McKee is best known for co-writing nine songs with Katy Perry, five of which went straight to number one. Along with her success with Katy Perry, McKee has written hits for some of the biggest names in the industry including Britney Spears, Ellie Goulding, Rita Ora, Christina Aguilera, Adam Lambert, Cher and Ke$ha.

She has been in a relationship with fellow songwriter Oliver Goldstein for the past seven years.
