Hillary Clinton’s long awaited cameo on Broad City finally airs this week, but we have a brand new teaser to hold us over until then…

It was way back in December that democratic frontrunner, Hillary Clinton, teased a picture of herself, Ilana Glazer, Abbi Jacobson and Amy Poehler on the set of Broad City, season 3. Finally, we have the first clip from the episode which is set to air tonight in the US.

In the episode, Ilana volunteers on the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign. When Ilana gives Abbi a tour of the campaign HQ, they run into the woman herself. Freak out ensues!

Despite what seems to be an endorsement for Hillary, actors and writers Abbi and Ilana have no political agenda.

“We were not trying to make a political statement. That’s not our show, really -‘let’s make a political stance here.’ It’s really more that this is something that Ilana’s character would do,” said Abbi. “Even regardless of where we stand – and we love Hillary – Hillary is such an iconic figure. These girls being around her is not an everyday thing. That’s how we felt being around her. It was like, ‘Oh, this is a different world.’”

Glazer added, “Because she’s this icon. We’re trying to make really good TV. I think you’ll watch the episode and think you’ll agree that it’s a great episode of TV.”
