Gay Spar Instagram is here to serve you a heap of laughs – but hold the lettuce, “what the f***k am I – a rabbit?”. Since Gay Spar came out as Gay Spar in July, the legendary spot has gone from strength to strength and now it’s made the move to Instagram.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Gay Spar opened up about its harrowing journey towards self-acceptance: “We’ve lived in denial for years, but now is the time to accept it. We are, the Gay Spar”. We are here for this monumental change.
Gay Spar across all the social platforms has constantly shown solidarity for transgender people and Instagram is no different.
Since embracing the Gay, there have been rumours abuzz of whether Gay Spar was in the market for a love interest, possible a certain Goth Spar. However, the store took to Twitter to let GCN know, “We’ve been in a relationship with Gay Centra this entire time. Married, 2 Kids. Centra took on our name (gay)”.
Speaking of wedding bells, the hot spot’s Instagram was running a special July promotion where anyone who proposed in the store would get free chicken fillet rolls, “(or until you two get divorced, whatever comes first)”.
One of our favourite Instagram posts from Gay Spar is: “If you use our Cornettos for a Madonna impression you must then purchase them”. Talk about getting a show and a meal in one.
They also pretty much sum themselves up with the loud and proud declaration, “Well b*tch, I AM gay culture”.
There are so many great posts though, it’s hard to pick one.
Not to mention the hilarious stories.
So while you are waiting in line for the ATM at Gay Spar for your taxi fare after a wild night out and are in need of a pick-me-up, you can check out their Insta, @thegayspar, and enjoy the Gay Spar-ception of it all. And leave their Cornettos alone.
