Gay Irish Youtuber James Mitchell called his granny to talk about marriage equality, and she had the most incredible response. Get the tissues!

Mitchell decided to take part in the #RingYourGranny campaign started by TCD students, aiming to mobilise older voters. They produced a super cute and powerful video for it’s launch, so Mitchell decided to make his own.

Watch as he nervously calls his granny, who has never talked openly about his sexuality with, and chats about the upcoming referendum on same-sex marriage.
