In celebration of the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria, the city has changed the traffic lights to portray same-sex couples on the green and red lights.

Instead of the lights featuring one man on the traffic lights, both male and female same-sex couples holding hands, with hearts above their heads.
“The campaign is intended to present Vienna as an open-minded city and also to improve traffic safety as the unusual symbols attract the attention of drivers and pedestrians”, a spokeswoman for Vienna’s city lighting department told Reuters.
