While we were all recovering from Dublin Pride, the 44th annual New York City Pride parade was in full swing yesterday with special help from the ‘Orange is the New Black’ cast.

Probably one of the most buzzed about shows of the past few years and an LGBT favourite, it makes sense that the guys and girls from Orange is the New Black would get out onto the New York streets and show their colours.

Cast members including Yael Stone (Lorna Morello), Samira Wiley (Poussey Washington), Dascha Polanco (Daya Diaz), Danielle Brooks (Taystee) and Matt McGorry (Officer Bennett) rode through NYC on an orange float and Instagrammed the entire day.

Trans activist and OITNB star Laverne Cox (Sophia Burset) was also at the parade, albeit in a special VIP car ahead of her castmates – she was one of the parade grand marshals after all!
