Gay Porn Star discusses why he got into porn in his 40s, myths about porn and advice for people looking to get into porn

 
American porn star Rocco Steele was at the London Prowler Porn Awards this week where GSN interviewed the late-comer to the porn industry.

Rocco admits that he used to work in corporate retail in New York until he was in his forties and then worked as an escort when his boyfriend suggested it, but it was actually a desire to start his own company that led him to porn to help fund the venture.

“I actually come from a background of many years of the corporate world,” Rocco says in the interview.

“So I actually left two years ago and started designing men’s underwear just for my company, needed some money to do that, and that’s how I got into porn.”

Rocco now runs his own underwear company 10seven which offers a fitted boxer brief in three colours at the moment.

Whether it’s to fund your own business or not, Rocco explains that working in porn is not all it is cracked up to be.

“I can only count on two fingers scenes that were actually not uncomfortable,” Steele confesses.
