A New York priest has been accused of stealing church donation money to pay for drugs, sex toys and ‘bondage and discipline’ sessions with his S&M master.
The New York Post has reported that a lawsuit has been filed against Bronx priest, Rev. Peter Miqueli, for stealing approximately $1 million to pay for hardcore S&M sex sessions with his lover Keith Crist – which cost $1,000 per session and included drinking his “master’s” urine. The priest at St. Frances de Chantal parish also reportedly paid for Crist’s rent in his apartment.
According to reports, the priest would steal $20 bills from the collection plates and also money raised to pay for a new church pipe organ. He allegedly has been engaging in this activity for nine years.
The lawsuit, which was filed in Manhattan Supreme Court yesterday, also claims that the Archdiocese of New York and Cardinal Timothy Dolan knew about Miqueli’s “illegal scheme” and tried to cover up the scandal.
“This lawsuit seeks to finally put an end to this truly sinful conduct so that St. Frances de Chantal parish can regain the strength, spirituality and faith it once had before Father Miqueli arrived,” the court papers say.
The suit seeks damages from Miqueli, Crist, Dolan and the archdiocese on grounds that include “negligent supervision, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud and unjust enrichment.”
Both Crist and Miqueli refused to speak to reporters, however the Archdiocese says it “has . . . taken these allegations seriously and has been investigating them.”
