Quirk Market is back on Saturday, August 26, and this time, the all-day event is taking over the gorgeous Dublin Pride Hub!
As one of Dublin’s most popular LGBTQ+ markets, it gives queer creatives and business owners a space to display and sell their fabulous work. It’s the perfect place to find Pride-themed art and gifts, with the market offering everything from cards to jewellery, clothing, stickers and more.
Every few months, the pop-up appears at various venues across Dublin. So far, it’s been held at places like Street 66, Outhouse and most recently, the Fumbally Stables. In August, the market will be at the Dublin Pride Hub for the first time, located at 44 Clarendon Street, Dublin 2, from 11am until 5pm.
Quirk Market organisers announced its return, sharing: “We are back again honeys, this time around in support of the Dublin Pride Hub with a selection of amazing artists, creators, and entrepreneurs from our LGBTIQIA+ community.”

The Dublin Pride Hub is a fantastic venue to host the market. The not-for-profit organisation is dedicated to raising awareness about LGBTQ+ discrimination, supporting the community, and championing inclusion and equality for all.
The Dublin Pride website describes the shop as: “More than a store, Pride Hub is a safe space for our community. Have a chat with one of our friendly staff or just enjoy our questionable playlists. Bring a spot of lunch and relax in our seating area. Take in the artwork in our exhibition space. Breathe. You’re safe here.”
The Pride Hub is currently open every Tuesday through Sunday, and the whole shop is stocked with queer accessories, Pride flags, badges, and tons of t-shirts including the 2023 GCN collection, which will also be on offer at Quirk.
More vendors will be announced soon, so keep an eye on the Quirk Market Instagram page because, over the next few days, they will be sharing details about some of the small business owners who are taking part.

GCN has been a vital, free-of-charge information service for Ireland’s LGBTQ+ community since 1988.
During this global COVID pandemic, we like many other organisations have been impacted greatly in the way we can do business and produce. This means a temporary pause to our print publication and live events and so now more than ever we need your help to continue providing this community resource digitally.
GCN is a registered charity with a not-for-profit business model and we need your support. If you value having an independent LGBTQ+ media in Ireland, you can help from as little as €1.99 per month. Support Ireland’s free, independent LGBTQ+ media.
