We see a lot of devastatingly romantic marriage proposals and over the top weddings – but YouTuber Garzilly captures his gay father’s simple wedding beautifully.

After the US Supreme Court ruled that same-sex marriage would be legal in all 50 states, it meant that couples like this who have been waiting decades to say there vows could finally declare their love for each other, legally.

Garzilly’s dad has been with his partner Ricky for over 26 years and has always been a part of the family. When the couple finally tied the knot in the families back garden, Garzilly captured the day perfectly.

“When two people love each other, does anything else really matter?” asks Garzilly in a voiceover.

“Not really. You see everyone deserves equality, family, and most importantly, love.”
